Spring flowers

This cute digital is from the Bugaboo store, and I computer-generated the sentiment, and added the sparkly ladybug at the bottom corner.   I also added stickles to the butterfly for a bit of pizzazz.

Spring buzz

This Darcie bear is adorable, dressed as a bumblebee.  He's been colored with prismas, and sparkle added to his wings.   I sponged the two different colors to frame him, added a sentiment, and voila, this card is ready to rumble, or is that bumble . . .

Super-sized chocolates

I used this same Stampavie image (artist - Penny Johnson) for a number of my valentine cards, but changed around the card designs.   On this one, I've layered a couple heart doilies, used some heart ribbon, a 3-D jar embellishment, hearts, bow and added some punched hearts around my image and used a corner punch.  A heart gem was added to the center of my bow.

Paw-some, dude . . .

I don't know about you, but I find masculine cards a challenge, as embellishments are a bit limited.  This friendly dog comes from the Eureka store, a division of QKR Stampede.  As you can probably tell, I cut around him and mounted with foam tape over my dotted swiss ribbon, and added the computer-generated verse.  This card would work for either a boy or girl.

Sweets for my sweetie

I love this Conie Fong digital, and you can tell by my previous posts that I've used it before, and recently.   My card reflects the usual valentine gifts - chocolates, flowers, hearts and love.   The dots at the upper corner are sparkly candi-dots, which I don't see used very often, but they're a nice substitute for brads/gems, as the dots squash down and won't penetrate through your envelope.   Thanks for coming in to view my card creation.

Love is in the air

Today is Customer Appreciation Day at Little Miss Muffet Stamps and I've been honored with the opportunity to show off one of their newest digitals.  This sweetie-pie is Jacinda from the Polka Dot Pals line.  I have an old corner rounder heart punch that I've used, plus added a few extra punched hearts around her.   Another heart die cut is behind her, as well as another at the bottom corner, with a heart gem added, as well as some ribbon and more heart embellishments at the upper edge.  My sentiment was computer-generated.

Smooth, cool cat . . .

This kitty certainly seems to have more than its share of "cat-titude" -- it comes from Eureka Stamps, a part of QKR Stampede.  The "meows" across the bottom is washi tape, which really made this a quick and easy card to put together.  I'm slowly working up some general-themed cards to send to Cards for Little Hearts, which are then distributed to children at heart hospitals - if you want to join in, just click on the site, and all the details are outlined, or you can also contact Christina.
